Young Marines and Recruits are expected to attend all drills and activities. Remember, active participation in our activities is mandatory to be considered for promotion and/or graduation. Attendance is taken at all activities.
The following items are to be brought with you to each and every drill:
Guidebook
Water bottle (camelbak, etc., is okay)
11 General Orders/YM Obligation card
Leadership Traits/Rank Structure card
Small pocket notebook
2 black pens
Please get a binder to keep your Guidebook in along with any papers that you receive.
GEAR
If you lose a cover, belt, guidebook, etc., you are now required to pay $5 toward the cost of a new one. We are no longer handing out gear free of charge.
If you outgrow your uniform, you are responsible to purchase a new one. See staff to get information on where to order a uniform.
YOUNG MARINES AND RECRUITS
If you are not at a drill it is your responsibility to contact SSgt. Gunning to see if you missed anything.
REMINDER FOR PARENTS
Please be waiting for your child in the parking lot prior to 2100 (9:00 pm). You MUST pick up your child promptly. If you are unable to pick your child up on time, please make arrangements with another parent to bring your child home. Staff Members cannot be responsible for those not picked up on time.
